data.ai underwent rebranding a year ago to embrace a "bold, elegant, luxurious, and enterprise" image. I began by auditing the brand guide, website, and marketing materials, and all work completed over the past 6 months. My research revealed a disconnect between messaging and design with design not supporting messaging. The website was plagued with bloated navigation and uninspired, unrelated stock photography. 

To support the "bold, luxury, expensive, enterprise" theme, I incorporated the "gem" logo visually into the design. Using diamonds as inspiration, I added a prism to the background to provide texture aligned with the brand direction. All imagery was removed and new imagery was only added if it supported the messaging. Clear lanes of typographical hierarchy were established which provided the "bold" in our mandate, and a carousel added to address marketing needs and sales generation.

Beth Anne Smith, the Senior Director of Brand & Product Marketing, made great strides in transforming voice and tone to mirror the luxury and enterprise mandate provided by the board. Previous social post images were disconnected from the subject of the post. To avoid incongruous messaging, we made our messaging the hero and aimed to stand out in the timeline.

Total App Revenue, powered by data.ai's proprietary artificial intelligence, offers brands and publishers comprehensive visibility into all mobile revenue streams. It introduces a groundbreaking mobile performance metric by combining in-app purchases (IAP) and advertising revenue. In the report creation process, I streamlined data.ai's information-dense reports by focusing on essential elements such as text, diagrams, and iconography. Establishing a clear typographical hierarchy and optimizing space for copy made the content easily digestible. Visual enhancements incorporated elements from the updated brand refresh, ensuring that diagrams popped on each page.

To support data.ai sales teams in their efforts to reach new clients, I created a simplified, on-brand presentation template. Leaning into the simplicity of the new brand direction allowed for the scaling up of creative elements without distracting from content. New brand elements, such as the "gem prism pattern," provided texture to slides, while the entire presentation feels expensive and enterprise due to its simplicity.
